Please note that depending on the material being compressed, tablets can expand slightly after being ejected from a tablet press. This can cause the tablet to be up to 100 microns larger than the dimensions of the tooling.

Do you require the dies to be Carbide lined?

Die taper shape

Please select whether or not you would like your die to be tapered. Adding taper to a die can help minimize capping or damage of your tablets when they are ejected. The increased space at the opening of the die allows air to escape faster and creates a gentler decompression of the tablet during ejection. Single taper is most commonly used in micro tablets or in development of new tablets.
